The Colours Of Life is a collection of captivating, inspiring and soul-lifting poems. The poet tried to use the instrumentality of poetry to express the different emotions, the power of divinity, the vicissitudes of life and the beauty of life regardless.

He used poetry as a cathartic force that heals wounds and mends hearts. Some of the poems are evocative of his personal life experience, the events and happenings around his society and world.

The anthology cuts across areas like diligence, devotion, love, pains, black consciousness, politics and many aspects of life. With this work, the author has shown that one of the greatest tools that soothes the soul and adds flavour to life is poetry.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The author, Jeffrey Innocent Eboh is an experienced legal practitioner and a Notary Public with a Bachelor degree from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State and a Master of Law degreefrom the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State.

He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. He has worked in notable law firms that are engaged in active legal practice, had a stint as the company secretary of a corporate establishment and also practice as one of the leading and experienced legal practitioners in the Edo State Ministry of Justice.

He is a seasoned and passionate writer who is adept in poetry. He has published some of his poems in choice magazines, newspapers and on social media like Facebook and Twitter.

He was the editor-in-chief of the defunct The Motivator, a success motivational magazine. He is a father to three wonderful and blessed children Jewel Oseyem, Jeremy Osemeke and Jether Onyenmeri.
