We all know that the main focus had been on the girl child talking about how they should act, dress, speak and relate with people. this has helped developed the confidence of the girl child and also improve the lifestyle of the girl child. However, the boy child does not have such model. They mostly pickup behavioral traits/patterns from their peer groups; secular gatherings and schools. hence the reason for the book so as to bring about a balance in our society.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Olatoro Bolarinwa Olorunnowo is the founder of two distinct ventures; BBI an Interior Design company, and Boys Diary_ng, a platform dedicated to the empowerment of young boys.

Through Boys Diary_Ng, Olatoro has founder her niche by passionately addressing the crucial need to nurture and guide the growth of boys into well-rounded men. Her Work is a direct response to a societal challenge: the negative impact of “broken men” on families and various sectors, from social and political spaces to the business world. While acknowledging the vital focus on the girl child, Olatoro believes a lack of proper engagement with boys has created a gap that harms our communities and hinders a balanced society. Her mission is to help bridge this gap.

Olatoro professional journey is built on a solid foundation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations and Personnel Management from Lagos State University and a Mini MBA in Leadership, Human Capital, and project management from the Tekedia Institute in Boston, U.S.A. With over 10 years of experience in the financial and FinTech industries, she has held key roles in Customer Experience, E-channels, and Dispute Resolution at institutions like Diamond bank and Access Bank Plc.
